Remember when I told you about my newly-found love of wrap dresses? Well, I got so obsessed with that little Dotti number in the weeks that followed that I had to go back to the store and buy another one in a different pattern. At first I was scared that I would soon regret that purchase, but I’ve worn both dresses so much that it was totally worth it.
In my quest towards perfecting my personal style I’ve come to realise that the only way to truly evolve is by going out of your comfort zone. The best way I know how to do this is by trying on things I may not have thought would work for me. Case in point: this wrap dress. I saw it hanging on a rack at Dotti, thought it looked more “meh” than cute but decided to take it to the changing room with me anyway.
In the rush (and joy) of these weeks of Christmas and New Years, it’s easy to start wishing for the year to be over already so it can take away with it all the bad things that happened in 2016. A lot of the time we end up forgetting to stop and think back on all the good things that the last twelve months brought us, so in today’s video I wanted to share an exercise that helps you face the holidays with a grateful heart.
