I wore this look to work a couple weeks ago, when I was helping out at a spring customisation workshop. The warmer season was just creeping up on us, so I did spring my way: with lots of flowers, of course, but in muted tones. Colour is not something I’m extremely comfortable with, so I tend to stick to the more neutral or pastel shades.
This Mossman top is one of my all-time favourites from my wardrobe, and it was the first peplum piece I ever tried on. To be honest, I tend to take a little while to be convinced when it comes to most new trends. Before I gave peplum a try I didn’t really get why anyone would want to make their hips look bigger. I most certainly wouldn’t. Then I tried this amazing top on, and I finally understood: it’s not about the hips; it’s about the waist. Not only does it cinch me in and shows it off – it also helps hide my problem areas, balancing the silhouette. In other words, perfection. ;)
I especially love the peplum + any high waisted bottom combo. There is seriously nothing more flattering or comfortable. These black jeans from Glassons are perfect for that. As for the shoes, they are one of the most comfortable pairs of heels I own. One of these days I wore them to work all day long then went out dancing, got home past 12am and still had no complaints. The metallic heels just make it all the more special, and I’ve been wearing this Melissa pair quite a lot lately. The Lady Petrova flower crown is my absolute favourite, and I just throw it on with most outfits. Because it is on the bigger side, I love that it is also a little more understated with the roses being all black. The leather-look jacket was one of the best purchases of my life, because I wear it with everything all the time and it still looks very new. I’ve had it for about two years and paid less than AU$30 for it. Bargain!

Eu realmente gosto dessa sua jaqueta, o legal é que couro fica bem com quase qualquer coisa e esses sapatos tem um salto realmente divino. O problema é que eu não tenho paciência pra me arrumar de manhã e sempre trabalho com a combinação camisa/jeans/tênis, trágico. Quanto a blusa, meu problema seria a barriga extra, não tenho problema com os quadris grandes, até gosto. :)
Essa jaqueta é provavelmente a peça mais usada de todo o meu guarda-roupas. Vai bem com tudo mesmo, como você disse. Amo!

Não é inacreditável?! A Melissa fica melhor a cada dia. Esse daí, com esse acabamento fosco, quase não parece plástico e é ainda mais fácil de cuidar. Uma maravilha!
Eu amo combinações de blusa peplum tanto com calça quanto com saia, e até vestidos! Cintura marcada e quadril valorizado? Adoro!
Infelizmente tive dificuldade em encontrar tiara de flores por aqui, mas já dei meu jeito. E como tenho pés muito sensíveis, evito Melissas porque a borracha me dá bolhas. Mas sempre que posso e não resisto, faço um esforcinho! Normalmente prefiro saltos mais finos, pois alongam a silhueta e não pesam no visual, mas sou apaixonada por essa Melissa!

Interessante! Meus pés são os mais problemáticos que conheço e é por isso que amo tanto Melissas: são sempre as mais confortáveis pra mim. Mas um monte de gente já me falou que tem problemas com elas; por que será, né?
